Power point is a decent program for developing presentations. I believe that anyone with a basic understanding of computers can learn to use the program and start developing their presentation within an hour or so of instruction. Will that guarantee that because the presenter used powerpoint that they will have a great presentation? Probably not at all. This means that there must be something more to a quality presentation.
Developing and delivering quality presentations takes lots of practice and planing. A group of people could be given the exact same topic and power point file to present and the results would be completely different.
In an effort to help others getting started on developing and preparing for their presentations, I have prepared a powerpoint file to help you out. These slides only represent a portion of the presentation as the other portion is actually seeing it for yourself.
Hope this helps you starting your presentations. Most of the information comes from books I have read and experiences I have had delivering and helping students with presentations. Thanks to Jeffrey Gitomer for all his amazing books on the subject.
